Get SpeechDance-AudioMode

SpeechDance-AudioMode is invite-only for now. Sign in with your invite to download it for your Mac or PC.

Mac and Windows

Mac: Apple menu → About This Mac. “Chip: Apple M…” means Apple chip; “Processor: Intel” means Intel. Windows: 10 or 11, 64-bit.

Opening it the first time

These early versions are not yet signed by Apple or Microsoft, so your computer asks you to confirm once.

Mac

  1. Open the downloaded file and drag SpeechDance-AudioMode into Applications.
  2. Open it from Applications. macOS says it cannot check it; click Done (or OK). Nothing opens yet: that is expected.
  3. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to “SpeechDance-AudioMode was blocked”, click Open Anyway, enter your password, then click Open. You do this once.
  4. The app opens. Click Sign in, then Allow in your browser.
  5. Turn on the switches the app shows you (microphone, Accessibility, keyboard monitoring) and click Restart.

Windows

  1. Open the downloaded installer. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway.
  2. The app opens. Click Sign in, then Allow in your browser.
  3. If the app says the microphone is off, click its button and switch on Let desktop apps access your microphone.

Your account shows each file’s SHA-256 fingerprint next to its download button, so you can be sure it came from us.
